During the morning of the Tech Cocktail conference, my iPhone's screen died. The touch pad didn't work. I tried a hard restart. David Armano tried a hard restart. Nada. At about 11 am, I walked the short walk to the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue. By noon, I was back at the conference, in time for lunch and astonished that I had a replacement so quickly. Here is the video documenting my scary experience. Why was I scared? iPhones are nowhere to be found globally and I didn't know if a replacement was possible.
