Akron, Ohio to Get Citywide Wi-Fi
Chicago, Pay Attention

Engadget reports that the city of Akron is going thru multiple measures to launch a FREE city Wi-Fi program. The city of Akron and the University of Akron pitched in some funds to complement the $2.5 million grant received from OneCommunity, who will implement the program.

I wish Akron the best of luck and hope its success is an example to what Chicago could do in the future.
