Open Books Sponsors Great American Book Drive

Oboogabd_125x125 Local nonprofit Open Books, which promotes literacy and reading skills, is having a book donation drive on Sunday October 26. What's notable is how well they've incorporated social media tools like the icon you see here, as well as downloadable flyers and cards. They've also partnered with Zipcar to schedule pick up of books at your home. Also notable is sponsor and local startup Sittercity, whose VP Dan Ratner also serves on their board.
